Morning Preparations
As a budtender at Monko, my day starts early. I arrive at our cannabis dispensary in Logan Circle around 8 AM, an hour before we open. The first order of business is to review our inventory and ensure all products are properly stocked and labeled.
Opening Shop
At 9 AM, we open our doors to eager customers. Many are regulars who appreciate our knowledgeable staff and wide selection of products. Throughout the morning, I assist customers in finding the perfect strain or product for their needs, whether they’re seeking relief from chronic pain or looking to unwind after a long day.
Lunchtime Rush
The lunch hour is always busy, with professionals from nearby offices stopping by to pick up their orders. Our efficient marijuana delivery service is a hit with those who can’t make it to the store. I spend this time coordinating with our delivery drivers to ensure all orders are accurate and on time.
Afternoon Education
In the afternoon, I lead a small educational session for new customers, explaining:
- Different cannabis strains and their effects
- Proper dosing for edibles
- Safe consumption practices
These sessions are crucial in promoting responsible use and building trust with our community.
Evening Wind-Down
As the day comes to a close, I assist with inventory counts and prepare for the next day. Before leaving, I often chat with my colleagues about new products or industry news, always looking to expand my knowledge to better serve our customers.
